Disney tries Google technology for Ads

Disney is a clear example of how to do marketing; it is a company that has maintained itself over the years and does not seem to have plans to resign its reign to anyone else.

Not long ago, the multimillion-dollar company decided to remove some of its most popular content from the Netflix streaming platform, to venture into its own service, which it would call Dinsey+.

Soon many users resented the absence of the affable contents of the entertainment company and that is precisely why they made the decision to abandon their current FreeWheel ad platform, which is part of Comcast.

Google keeps the share

After leaving also the giant Comcast, Dinsey decided to go completely with Google, who has won multimillion-dollar accounts over the years such as CBS, A & E and AMC.

These chains have given the colossus the opportunity to venture into the world of entertainment and have enough experience to give the service that the classic of cartoons needs.

The agreement signed between the companies, allows the Walt Disney brands to sell ads of their different franchises in different platforms such as Disney, ABC, ESPN, Freeform, Star Wars, Marvel and finally the classic of children’s animation, Pixar.

A new era of streaming

Before this news, Disney had already noticed something very important: Netflix was making millionaire profits in streaming.

Most people who like to enjoy movies, hardly imagine going to the cinema anymore, we prefer the new style: home theater.

With this information, Dinsey + slowly materializing and an important amount of people preferring the streaming than the cinema, Google will definitely give a turn to the era of streaming.

For its part, Disney offers direct content for the consumer, live streaming and the full catalog for subscribers.

The empire grows

What about Hulu? Disney+ will not yet include Hulu in the streaming (although it has 30% of its share), however, it is suggested that by acquiring 60% of Twenty-First Century Fox company, its contents will also be available for the public.

It is hard to imagine a company the size of Disney doing business with the already popular Google without the resounding success coming to our heads.

What we need now is to know Netflix’s response to this attack, which may not lead to bankruptcy, but it may take some fans away from its growing popularity.
